Are You REALLY an Entrepreneur?

Do not get me wrong. But in today’s business world when every day new companies are being formed and old companies are closing down, it has become even more important to ask yourself, ‘Am I really an Entrepreneur?’.
Most of the business owners whether big or small think that they are entrepreneurs and live under this fallacy without understanding the real meaning behind the word ‘Entrepreneur’.
The word ‘Entrepreneur’ has been defined by different authors in many numbers of ways:
Some definitions’ are glorified statements.
Some are too technical.
Some definitions’ can only be understood by the author who has written it. I mean it is too complicated to relate to it.
There is nothing in that statement that will inspire a person to relate to the definition.
What is the Outcome?
The business Person keeps on struggling to keep their company afloat.
The business Person keeps on struggling to put in systems.
The business Person keeps on struggling to find the right people for their Organization.
And the list goes on!!
Is there a way to come out of this vicious circle of struggle?
Of Course there is!
Anyone can come out of it. The only condition is ‘are you willing to come out of it?’
Or have you become comfortable going round and round in circles in your day to day business activities?
Here I would like to share a beautiful definition of ‘Entrepreneur’. This statement has not been coined by me, but it really has given me a ‘point of view’ to look at myself as an Entrepreneur and Entrepreneurship.
Here is the definition:
‘Entrepreneurship is about living a few years of your life most won’t, so that you can live the rest of your life like most can’t’
So what is the kind of life you would like to lead?
Would you like to do hard work little by little all your life or invest the next few years of your life in hard work so that you can become free to lead a life that most people can only dream of?
You have the FREEDOM!!
The greatest tragedy of business people is:
They know all the Answers. The only thing what they don’t know is the RIGHT QUESTIONS.
A True Entrepreneur always asks the RIGHT QUESTIONS.
So, Are You a True Entrepreneur?
As a matter of fact, Are You Really an Entrepreneur?
